Kelley Reeder, Adviser
Ms. Kelley Reeder has been the adviser of the JBHS Citadel yearbook since 2006-2007. She has helped students produce eleven student publications and they are now getting ready for our 12th, "Perspective." On top of the yearbook, this year The Rocket Flame, an online student newspaper that is produced by the students for the students, was added to the Journalism Publications course. This is meant to represent YOU and JBSM will report on things that matter to you as teens at JBHS.
Her role as the adviser of this publication is to oversee the production, establish deadlines, and provide students with journalism skills necessary to create published student work. Students make all editorial and content decisions, and her role is as a guide.
She currently teaches grades nine and ten at JBHS, and this is her twelfth year here. She has sat in your seats at JB as a student here, and feels "blessed to teach in my home community." She is currently finishing her Master's degree in Journalism education through Kent State University.
On a personal note, she loves all things Disney and Harry Potter, and most of her time is spent hanging out with the coolest nieces ever.
