Ever since a vacation in 2019, Reagan Melius has had a growing interest in photography. She joined the photojournalism staff to learn how to use a camera and take quality pictures. When asked what she wants to accomplish in photojournalism she explained, “To take better pictures and learn how to edit the pictures.” She also participates in the Student Council. Her favorite subject is English because she enjoys writing in all different styles. Reagan also enjoys reading, drawing, and organization. She aspires to be a psychologist because she wants to help others with their mental health. Reagan strives to improve her photography skills through photojournalism to take quality pictures for the yearbook and The Rocket Flame. Reagan foresees herself participating in photojournalism throughout high school.
