Hagerstown Man Arrested for Stealing Over $4,000 in Firearm Accessories from Chambersburg Store

CHAMBERSBURG, PA – A Maryland man has been arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in firearm accessories from a Sportsman’s Warehouse in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Bradley Trostel, 43, of Hagerstown, MD, is accused of committing six separate retail thefts between January 7 and April 12, 2025. The total value of the stolen merchandise is estimated at $4,096.76.

Authorities say Trostel targeted high-end firearm accessories, including optics, rifle stocks, scope mounts, bipods, and precision rifle components.

Trostel was arrested on April 17 at around 3:30 PM. He now faces multiple charges related to retail theft.

Pennsylvania State Police have not disclosed further details about the investigation or potential accomplices.
