A mall employee in Pennsylvania has been arrested after a disturbing incident involving a teenage boy at the Oxford Valley Mall.
According to court records, 40-year-old Warren Schaeffer was taken into custody on Saturday, May 3.
Schaeffer is facing several charges, including indecent assault by forcible compulsion, harassment, disorderly conduct, and open lewdness.
Authorities say the incident happened inside a public bathroom at the mall.
Schaeffer allegedly entered an occupied stall and exposed himself to a teenage boy.
The teen immediately reported the incident to mall security.
Reports say Schaeffer mistook the boy for a man he had arranged to meet through a dating app.
The meeting was reportedly planned to happen in the same bathroom.
At the time, Schaeffer was employed at the JCPenney store inside the mall.
He was booked into the Bucks County Correctional Facility with bail set at 10% of $100,000.
As of now, Schaeffer remains in custody and is awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 22.
The Middletown Township Police Department has not yet released a statement.
