DETROIT, MI — Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris has returned to the team’s facility after a frightening hit during a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. Norris was taken off the field in an ambulance following the hit, which left many concerned about his condition.

The Injury Incident
Norris sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of the game, when he collided with Falcons running back Nathan Carter. On the play, Norris’ head snapped back after making contact with Carter’s leg, causing a scary moment on the field.
Medical staff attended to Norris for several minutes before he was loaded into an ambulance and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
