On August 10, 2025, while performing in Almaty, Kazakhstan during her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour, Lopez was interrupted by a large cricket crawling up her dress. As she sang to the crowd, the cricket moved its way to her neck, but Lopez didn’t miss a beat.
In a quick, calm motion, she grabbed the cricket and tossed it off the side of the stage. Smiling, she told the audience, “It was tickling me,” before continuing with her performance as if nothing had happened.
The moment was captured on video and shared by Lopez’s official fan account, with a humorous caption: “Plot twist: @JLo just started rehearsals for Kiss of the Cricket Woman… on stage … in real time. 😂💋🦗.” This was a playful reference to her upcoming film role in Kiss of the Spider Woman, set to be released this fall.
