Chrisley Confessions 2.0 Podcast Reveals Hilarious Family Banter
Todd Chrisley, known for his playful antics, recently discussed his mom Nanny Faye’s potential love life on the latest episode of the Chrisley Confessions 2.0 podcast.
In a mix of humor and teasing, Todd joked that he might put Nanny Faye, 80, on a dating site or even on ABC’s The Golden Bachelorette—an idea that sent his family into fits of laughter.
Todd Jokes About Dating for Nanny Faye
On the Wednesday, August 5th, episode of the podcast, Todd, 56, playfully suggested to his mom that Jello shots “make your clothes come off,” causing an uproar of laughter from his wife, Julie Chrisley, 52.
Nanny Faye responded with a humorous remark, saying, “They would run for cover.” Todd couldn’t resist continuing the joke, asking, “So you say if you strip, they’d run?”
“Well, you know, I look pretty good to be 80,” Nanny Faye quipped, adding, “But you know what, I’m not advertising.”
Todd then made the playful suggestion of setting Nanny Faye up on a dating site. Nanny Faye, however, wasn’t convinced. “Well, you go ahead and put yourself on a dating site,” she responded.
Todd, who is happily married to Julie, laughed and responded, “I don’t need that, I got Julie.”
The Golden Bachelorette Suggestion
Despite Nanny Faye’s reluctance, Todd didn’t back down. He joked, “We’re going to pimp you out,” to which Julie chimed in, suggesting Nanny Faye could be a contestant on The Golden Bachelorette.
Todd added, “Mama, we could put you on there.” However, Nanny Faye wasn’t having it, saying, “You not putting me nowhere. I’m resigning, I’m through.”
Nanny Faye’s Reluctance and Playful Responses
As Todd and Julie continued to encourage the idea, Nanny Faye firmly stuck to her stance. She revealed that she hadn’t even watched the previous seasons of The Golden Bachelorette, and she didn’t want to be part of it. “I don’t want nobody,” she said, clearly not interested in the dating scene.
Despite Nanny Faye’s objections, Todd continued to humor her, saying, “But mama, you could have 12 men!” Nanny Faye, however, wasn’t sold, responding with, “Can’t even take care of one.”
Nanny Faye’s History with Love
Nanny Faye was married to Gene Chrisley, a U.S. Army veteran who fought in the Korean War, until his death in 2012. The couple, who tied the knot in the 1960s, lived in Atlanta and raised their two sons, Todd and Chase. Since Gene’s passing, Nanny Faye has largely stayed out of the dating spotlight.
