Savannah Chrisley Tells Sister Lindsie to “Lose Our Last Name” Amid Family Drama in New Show Trailer

The Chrisley family feud continues to make headlines. In the newly released trailer for the upcoming reality show The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, Savannah Chrisley makes a bold statement to her older sister Lindsie — telling her that they are “no longer family” and to “lose our last name.”

The emotional moment highlights the deep cracks in the famous family’s relationships.

Feud Explodes in New Reality Show Teaser

The show, which premieres September 1 on Lifetime, brings the Chrisley family back to TV after years of legal troubles, prison time, and personal conflicts. In the trailer, the family reflects on their struggles, especially after Todd and Julie Chrisley’s highly publicised legal case and prison sentences.

Savannah, 27, strongly accuses her sister Lindsie of betrayal, saying that she wrote a letter to the FBI that was read aloud during the prosecution. “We’re no longer family, lose our last name,” Savannah says. Their younger brother Grayson also adds, “Your blood will screw you over faster than a stranger will.”

Legal Trouble Divided the Family

Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted in 2022 on multiple counts including tax fraud and conspiracy. They were sentenced to a total of 19 years in prison, although their sentences were slightly reduced in 2023. Todd’s appeal was upheld, while Julie’s was first approved, then later reversed by a judge.

In May, both were pardoned and released from prison by former President Donald Trump, but their family hasn’t been the same since. “This family’s been torn apart,” says Nanny Faye Chrisley in the trailer.

Savannah also opens up about the impact of her parents’ absence. “With my parents gone, our household is completely divided,” she says. “I told my parents I don’t know if it can ever be repaired.”

Lindsie Changes Her Last Name

Lindsie, who is estranged from her parents and siblings, recently changed her name on Instagram to Lindsie Landsman. On a July 16 episode of her podcast The Southern Tea, she explained that the Chrisley name came with “public association” and “assumptions” she never asked for.

She admitted that while the name became famous through Chrisley Knows Best, it did not bring her opportunities and instead made her professional life more difficult. “The Chrisley name has actually been very problematic for me,” she said, adding that it has affected her post-show career.

Relationship Between Sisters Remains Cold

The distance between Savannah and Lindsie has been building for years. Lindsie said earlier this year that their relationship is “nothing” and claimed Savannah has never reached out privately to resolve the issues.

On the other hand, Savannah told PEOPLE in 2023 that she no longer wants toxic people in her life. “As an adult, it’s my responsibility to have healthy relationships and cut out unhealthy ones,” she said. “Especially now with the two kids, I have to protect them emotionally and mentally.”

Savannah also mentioned distancing herself from older brother Kyle Chrisley, showing that the family fallout goes beyond just the sisters.

The Chrisley family drama is far from over. The new series The Chrisleys: Back to Reality gives fans a raw and emotional look at their strained relationships, especially between Savannah and Lindsie. From legal battles and public statements to name changes and deep personal hurt, the Chrisley family is facing tough times.

Whether healing is possible or not, viewers will get a front-row seat to the real-life struggles behind the once-glamorous TV family.
