Kelley Wolf, the author and public speaker, is documenting her emotional struggle to enter her family home after her estranged husband, Scott Wolf, dropped a restraining order against her.
In a video shared on Instagram on July 29, Kelley, 48, showed her attempts to gain access to their Park City, Utah home, with police present.
The video comes nearly two weeks after Scott Wolf’s restraining order against her was dismissed on July 19 as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings.
Kelley Wolf’s Attempts to Enter the Home
In the Instagram video, Kelley shared that she was “under the impression” she had done everything necessary to retrieve some basic items from her home. “I’m currently about to meet up with a deputy of Summit County who’s going to escort me into my home so I can get some money that I have saved,” she said in the video.
Kelley expressed frustration about being perceived as “crazy” due to her public divorce. She also mentioned how hurtful it was to be called things like “grandiose” or “bipolar.”
“I have just had enough… I’m sick of being treated like I’m crazy,” she said. Kelley also reflected on her father’s advice, saying, “My dad taught me to keep cash. You know, just keep cash.”
As Kelley attempted to open the front door and garage of the house, she was unsuccessful, stating that the locks appeared to have been changed.
The Role of the Police
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that they responded to a “keep the peace” call on the morning of July 29. The police escorted Kelley around the property while she tried multiple ways to enter, but she was unable to get inside.
According to the police, Kelley called her family for support and left the scene after being unable to gain entry. The spokesperson noted that no one was contacted inside the house, and it was unclear if anyone was home at the time.
Divorce and Custody Agreement
This incident occurred just days after Scott’s temporary restraining order was dropped. Court documents show that a temporary custody agreement was made on July 15, which granted Scott temporary sole physical custody of their three children—Jackson, 16; Miller, 12; and Lucy, 11.
Kelley was granted supervised visitation with the children, along with regular phone or video calls.
The custody agreement also includes provisions for a social media gag order, preventing both parties from posting about each other, their children, or the divorce on social media.
Kelley Wolf’s Emotional Struggle
Throughout the video, Kelley shared the emotional toll this public divorce has had on her. “We’re both famous, just that’s the part that sucks,” she said, adding that the whole situation is “embarrassing” for her.
Despite the emotional difficulty, she emphasized that she “doesn’t back down” and wants to keep fighting for access to her children and belongings.
