The drama between Gino and Jasmine reached a boiling point on the July 27 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, when a parking lot confrontation ended with Gino asking Jasmine for a divorce—only to later admit he’s waiting for a recession before actually filing the paperwork.
Gino Accuses Jasmine of Cheating Before Open Marriage
Things spiraled when Gino accused Jasmine of cheating on him with her friend Matt before they agreed to an open marriage. Gino claimed he had phone records that proved Jasmine had already been romantically involved with Matt and accused her of proposing an open marriage to cover it up.
“She had Matt selected, and she proposed an open marriage to cover her a– so her and Matt no longer had to hide their relationship,” Gino said in a confessional, believing he’d been “tricked.”
Jasmine, however, fiercely denied the claims, saying Gino was twisting the truth and misinterpreting their past communications. “He wants to divorce me for something that is not true,” she said through tears. “It feels like a life sentence for a crime I never committed.”
Matt Steps In – and Throws Shade
After the argument, Gino left Jasmine alone with her belongings in a parking lot. Matt arrived shortly after to help Jasmine and heard her side of the story. He wasn’t surprised by Gino’s accusations and called out his behavior.
“Part of me wanted it to happen like this,” Matt said, “so Jasmine can finally see how Gino treats her. I’m the one who supports her. I’m the one who picks up the pieces.”
Gino Still Holding Back on Filing Divorce
Despite the harsh words and Jasmine’s emotional reaction, Gino revealed in a confessional that he still hadn’t filed for divorce—and had a very specific reason: he’s waiting for a recession.
“I would prefer to wait for a recession when the market completely drops,” Gino explained. “Because I don’t want to share money with Jasmine for free.”
Even though he said there’s only a small chance for reconciliation, Gino admitted the entire situation has left him feeling sick. “I had a whole life planned out with Jasmine,” he said. “For it to end this way—it feels like a complete waste of time.”
Enter Natalie: Gino’s New Love Interest
Later in the episode, Gino phoned up Natalie, his new romantic interest, while shopping at a local thrift store. When Natalie asked how the divorce talk went, Gino admitted he was emotional and “let Jasmine have it.”
Although Jasmine may have wanted to reconcile, Gino claimed he wasn’t ready for that, citing her supposed betrayal. “I was not going to have any of that at the moment,” he told Natalie.
But Natalie wasn’t fully on board either. She emphasized the importance of closure and didn’t want to be caught between unfinished business. “I don’t want to be in the middle of something,” she said.
Still, Gino invited Natalie to visit him in Michigan, and she agreed. Gino confessed in a confessional that he was excited to see her again but acknowledged that he was “still trying to process” his feelings about the divorce. “It’s complicated,” he said.
The fallout between Gino and Jasmine may have reached a new low, but as usual in the world of 90 Day Fiancé, things remain messy, emotional, and far from settled. While Jasmine deals with heartbreak and betrayal, Gino is calculating divorce timing based on the economy—and entertaining a new romance with Natalie in the meantime.
