Denise Richards’ reality TV series, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, will not return for a second season, according to PEOPLE. The show, which premiered in early March, was always intended to be a limited series and had no plans for a sophomore season.
A Limited Series from the Start
Denise Richards & Her Wild Things followed the actress and her family, including her daughters Sami Sheen, Lola Sheen, and Eloise, as well as her then-husband Aaron Phypers and ex-husband Charlie Sheen. The show offered fans a glimpse into the dynamics of Richards’ family life, including candid moments about her relationships.
Despite speculation about a second season after the news of Richards’ divorce from Phypers, it has been confirmed that the show was designed as a one-season project. The series concluded with no plans for further episodes.
Divorce and the Impact on the Show
Richards and Phypers’ separation had fans wondering if it would affect the future of the show. In one episode of the series, Richards and Phypers openly discussed their relationship, with Phypers saying, “Being with Denise is ‘it’ for me.
I’m done.” Richards also chimed in, adding, “Yeah, I’m never getting divorced again. Even if we hate each other, I’m not gonna f—— get divorced.”
However, on July 7, Phypers, 52, filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” and listing their separation date as July 4. The couple had been married for six years, having tied the knot in 2018.
In court documents, Phypers claimed he had no income due to closing his wellness business in 2024, while Richards, 54, earns over $250,000 a month from her OnlyFans account, television work, brand deals, and public appearances.
Phypers also revealed that the couple spent exorbitantly on dining out, groceries, and clothing, with monthly expenses totaling more than $60,000.
Family Life and Previous Marriages
Richards’ family life, including her relationship with her daughters and ex-husband Charlie Sheen, was central to the show. Richards and Sheen were married from 2002 to 2006 and share two daughters, Sami and Lola.
Meanwhile, Phypers had been previously married to Desperate Housewives star Nicolette Sheridan from December 2015 until their divorce in 2018.
Where to Watch Season 1
While Denise Richards & Her Wild Things will not continue with a second season, the first season is still available to stream on Peacock for fans who want to relive the moments from the show.
