Two ladies in Florida are accused of assisting a juvenile girl’s sexual assault by reportedly providing her with alcoholic beverages inside one of their homes prior to her being raped by a 15-year-old boy.
Sandra Vivine Suarez Ramirez, 40, and Janessa Marie Pierce, 22, were arrested and charged with one count of child negligence without grave bodily harm, according to records examined by Law&Crime.
While court documents in the case are designated “confidential” and thus inaccessible on the Monroe County Circuit Court Clerk’s website, Miami ABC affiliate WPLG received a copy of the probable cause affidavit.

According to the investigation, the event occurred at Pierce’s residence on February 11. The women began the evening by picking up the victim, whose name and age were redacted from the affidavit, in Key West and driving her and the 15-year-old kid to a liquor store. While buying the wine, Ramirez allegedly urged the kids to “hide their faces from the camera.”
According to police, the victim is linked to Ramirez, and the 15-year-old male is Pierce’s younger brother.
After purchasing the alcohol, the victim reported that both ladies urged her and the 15-year-old to drink, with options including vodka, spiked iced tea, and spiced rum. At times, the victim said Ramirez forced her to “drink straight Tito’s vodka shots of alcohol from the bottle.”
Ramirez allegedly informed the victim at some point in the evening “that she was going to become a woman tonight.” A short time later, the 15-year-old allegedly led the victim to a bedroom in the house, where Ramirez and Pierce were waiting. The women then fled at Pierce’s instruction, and the 15-year-old is accused of raping the victim, according to the affidavit.
Investigators interviewed Ramirez and Pierce a week after the alleged rape. In a Feb. 19 interview with police, the women allegedly agreed to purchasing alcohol, “but said it was for them and not the teens.” However, Pierce apparently stated that she maintains a bottle of rum in the refrigerator that is freely accessible to “anyone” in the house.
The couple were also apparently unable to adequately explain for the youngsters’ whereabouts that evening, stating authorities they had left the house to attend “a party in Big Coppitt Key,” despite the fact that they “did not know where this alleged party was.”
The 15-year-old defendant, who has been charged with sexual battery, reportedly told police that his intoxicated encounters with the victim were voluntary.
“The suspect said he could not remember much because he was drunk, the suspect said that the victim agreed to sexual intercourse by saying yes to him and he did have sexual intercourse with the victim,” according to the statement of fact.
Ramirez and Pierce were both being held in the Key West Jail on a $10,000 bond as of Thursday afternoon, according to records.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to a Law&Crime inquiry for more information on the case. The defendants’ court records were confidential, so it was unclear when they were scheduled to appear before a judge.
