Season 2 of My Life with the Walter Boys Is Bigger, Better, and Full of Drama

Things have changed a lot since fans last saw the characters of Silver Falls. As the highly-anticipated season 2 of My Life with the Walter Boys gets ready to premiere, fans can expect big changes for Jackie (played by Nikki Rodriguez), Cole (played by Noah LaLonde), and Alex Walter (played by Ashby Gentry).

Jackie Faces the Consequences of Her Sudden Exit

In season 1, things got messy when Alex confessed his love for Jackie, but she kissed Cole and then fled to New York City to avoid the drama.

Now, in season 2, Jackie is back in Silver Falls and dealing with the fallout of her quick exit and everything that changed while she was gone.

Alex’s Major Glow-Up: Cowboy Vibes

When we last saw Alex, there was tension between him and Cole, as fans debated whether they were Team Alex or Team Cole. Now, after a summer away from Jackie, Alex has had a major transformation. He’s looking older, hotter, and ready to serve sultry cowboy vibes, much to Jackie’s surprise.

As described in the official synopsis, Alex changed a lot over the summer and is not happy about Jackie’s return. He’s been busy focusing on training for a risky rodeo event and is soaking up all the new attention he’s getting thanks to his fresh look.

This new version of Alex is sure to stir up more feelings between Jackie and Cole, as the love triangle continues.

Cole Struggles to Adjust

Meanwhile, Cole is still brooding, dealing with his new reality without football in his life. As Jackie returns, she’s determined to fix things with Alex and set clear boundaries with Cole. But things won’t be easy, especially when Cole’s “old ways” begin to cause drama for the whole Walter family.

Jackie’s Struggle to Fit In

Jackie, who lost her family and moved in with the Walters at the start of season 1, is trying to carve out a place for herself in the family. Katherine (played by Sarah Rafferty) encourages Jackie to leave New York and return to the Walters in Colorado, but things aren’t smooth as she tries to find acceptance.

As the official synopsis says, “As Jackie gains acceptance in Silver Falls while trying to hold onto her Howard identity, she’s forced to make a choice that could destroy everything she’s worked to rebuild.”

A Bigger, Better Season Ahead

Creator Melanie Halsall has teased that season 2 is “bigger and better” than season 1. “The stories are more intricate,” Halsall shared with Netflix’s Tudum. “We found our feet with our characters, and the actors really understand their characters now.

When I was coming back, I was excited to start shooting again because I knew we had great stories to tell.”

Noah LaLonde, who plays Cole, also teased that there will be some “dramatic stuff” in season 2, though he’s hopeful for a happy ending. “But how the hell could I know?” he joked.
