Is Hannah Fields in a bit of a love triangle now that she’s left the Love Island USA villa? She’s not exactly sure, but she’s had some time to reflect on her connections with Charlie Georgio and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez.
After being dumped from the villa alongside Jeremiah Brown on the June 22 episode, Hannah’s journey in the villa came to an end, but she’s now opening up about her relationships and what might happen in the real world.
Hannah’s Journey with Charlie and Pepe
Hannah’s experience in the villa started with Charlie, who was unexpectedly dumped earlier in the season. She admits that she cried herself to sleep after Charlie left, holding onto a photo booth picture of him. But the very next day, she went on a beach date with Pepe, a bombshell who immediately caught her attention.
“I think my connections with both of them were very different,” Hannah says. “And maybe it would’ve played out differently if Charlie was still there, but I saw a completely different side of Pepe after Charlie left, and I maybe would never have known that about him.”
Hannah also reveals that many of her sweet moments with Pepe weren’t shown on TV, but they had a lot of people noticing their chemistry. “Our connection was not really shown, but literally everyone was always taking pictures of us and being like, ‘Oh my gosh, so cute.'”
A “Super Mature” Connection with Pepe
Hannah says she had a “super mature” connection with Pepe but also enjoyed their “silly” moments together. She describes their bond as something unique and meaningful.
In contrast, she didn’t go as deep with Charlie. “Me and Charlie just had this super funny dynamic. We were always cracking up, we were probably annoying everyone with how loud we were,” she explains. “We’re always just in the pantry eating snacks. It was very, like, best friend.”
However, when it comes to Pepe, Hannah admits their relationship felt deeper. “Pepe was more of a deeper connection,” she says. “But both of them, I would never change anything about either of them. It was both amazing, they’re amazing men.”
What’s Next for Pepe and Hannah?
Although Pepe continues his journey on Love Island USA, Hannah wants nothing but the best for him. “He deserves the world, and if he finds a connection that’s not me, at least I know that he’s happy,” she says. “I think if anything really works out for him, then that’s what’s meant to be.”
Since she’s been dumped from the villa, Hannah admits her feelings have changed. “I would have been losing my mind at the idea of him exploring new connections in Casa Amor if I was still in the villa,” she says. “But now that I’m not there, it feels different.”
Hannah is hopeful, though. “I’m keeping my fingers crossed that maybe he goes back out and he’s single.”
Open to Talking to Both Charlie and Pepe
Hannah is open to talking to both Charlie and Pepe in the real world. “I would definitely talk to both of them,” she says. “I would like to see how our relationships could play out in the real world, because obviously it’s really, really, really different.”
She continues, “Only time will tell. I’m not forcing anything. I think it’s really up to how they both feel.”
