Taylor Swift might have won countless music awards, but she might also deserve an award for being the most supportive girlfriend in sports.
The pop star surprised fans with a performance at Tight End University in Nashville, where she took the stage during the event that brings together some of the NFL’s top tight ends to train and hang out.
Her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs star, was at the annual event, and his fans were in for a treat when Swift performed her hit “Shake It Off” at the “Tight Ends & Friends” concert.
A Surprise Performance That Stole the Show
Social media quickly blew up with posts showing Swift performing on stage, much to the surprise and delight of the attendees. The NFL even shared a photo that country star Kane Brown posted, featuring him with Swift and Kelce. The caption read, “When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not” followed by a laughing emoji.
Swift made her entrance during Brown’s set, adding a fun twist to the night.
“Shake It Off” and the Tight End Dedication
Before launching into her performance, Swift dedicated the song to the crowd, saying, “We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players who are going to play, and these are the tight ends.”
With the crowd roaring in excitement, she began singing “Shake It Off,” which seemed like the perfect choice for the tight ends, who sometimes need to shake off tough plays on the field.
Swift and Kelce’s Strong Relationship
Swift and Travis Kelce have been going strong as a couple since the summer of 2023, and this latest show of support for Kelce at Tight End University is just another example of their growing bond.
