Larsa Pippen is raising concerns about Lisa Hochstein and her boyfriend, Jody Glidden.
While the two Real Housewives of Miami castmates have faced tension in the past, they’ve been working to mend their friendship. However, Larsa, 50, doesn’t believe that Lisa’s new relationship with Jody is the right fit for her.
During a June 25 episode of RHOM, Larsa opened up about her feelings on Lisa and Jody’s relationship, especially after a heated argument between Lisa and her ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan.
While in Milan Fashion Week, Larsa and Lisa tried to resolve their differences. However, Larsa later claimed that Jody allegedly told Lisa to end her friendship with Larsa.
Larsa’s Concerns About Jody
While attending Patton’s surprise wedding celebration, Larsa shared her thoughts with her castmates Alexia Nepola, Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova, Kiki Barth, and Marysol Patton. She recounted how Lisa and Jody attended Milan Fashion Week, where Lisa’s son, Preston Pippen, walked in the Philipp Plein fashion show.
Larsa explained that, during the trip, she had asked Lisa and Jody not to stay friends with Marcus after their breakup, saying, “I don’t want blogs to say that my friend is hanging out with my ex, who is publicly bashing me. My loyalty is to Lisa.”
While Larsa and Lisa were making progress, Larsa claimed that, on their final night in Milan, Jody allegedly became “so crazy” and told Lisa that he didn’t want her talking to Larsa anymore.
Larsa then took Lisa aside, telling her, “I love you. I want to make amends with you,” before adding, “He’s using you. He’s not good for you.”
Lisa’s response, according to Larsa, was: “I love him. I love him.” Larsa then went further, saying, “He’s controlling.”
Larsa’s Worries About Lisa’s Relationship
Larsa expressed concern for Lisa, saying, “Honestly, I’m concerned about her. Because I think he wants her money, her access.” She added that Jody is constantly involved in Lisa’s business calls: “She will never get on a business call without him on the phone.”
The group of women reacted, with Alexia saying, “He’s playing manager. That’s scary,” and Kiki suggesting, “He’s a gold digger.”
Did They Resolve Their Differences?
Guerdy asked if Larsa and Lisa had resolved their conflict, but Larsa confirmed they hadn’t yet. Alexia also shared that Lisa was invited to Patton’s wedding celebration but couldn’t attend as she was in Canada for her father’s funeral.
Jody has not responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment on Larsa’s claims.
Background on Lisa and Jody’s Relationship
Before being with Jody, Lisa Hochstein was married to Lenny Hochstein. Their public divorce was featured on RHOM season 5, with Lenny filing for divorce in May 2022, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The split was confirmed the same month.
Less than a year after her divorce, Lisa went public with her relationship with Jody Glidden, confirming they were together in February 2023.
