You’ll Laugh Watching Brady and Gronk Break a Trophy

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are two names football fans will never forget. From winning Super Bowls to sharing laughs, these two stars have had quite the journey.

Now retired, they recently reunited at Fanatics Fest 2025 in New York—and in true Brady-Gronk fashion, they broke something very valuable: a Lombardi Trophy!

What Happened at Fanatics Fest?

A playful moment between the football legends turned into a hilarious mishap. In a video shared by Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, Brady tossed a Lombardi Trophy down a hallway filled with reporters to Gronkowski. Gronk did catch it—but the trophy broke right after!

People nearby gasped as the trophy cracked. Brady jokingly shouted, “You broke it!” while Gronk laughed and blamed him back, saying, “You threw it way too hard!”

The Funny Blame Game

Like brothers having fun, Brady and Gronk started teasing each other. Brady called Gronk “washed up,” while Gronk defended himself, saying it wasn’t his fault. Rubin captioned his Instagram video with, “At least @tombrady and @gronk have a few more of those,” adding several trophy emojis. Since they have multiple Super Bowl wins, it’s clear they can laugh it off!

Their Football Journey Together

Brady and Gronkowski were a powerful duo in the NFL. Brady played 23 seasons—20 with the New England Patriots and 3 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He won a record-breaking seven Super Bowls, more than any team in NFL history.

Gronkowski played 11 seasons, mostly with the Patriots before joining Brady again in Tampa Bay. Together, they won four Super Bowl titles between 2014 and 2020.

More Than Teammates—They’re Close Friends

Over the years, Brady and Gronk built a strong friendship. In a 2022 interview, Gronk called Brady a “true legend” and said it was an honor to play with him. They shared incredible chemistry on the field, and that bond clearly continued off the field too.

In 2023, Gronk even recalled pranking Brady on April Fools’ Day by putting his hand in water while he slept—making him pee the bed! It’s clear their relationship is full of both respect and playful fun.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski’s friendship goes beyond football. Whether it’s winning championships or accidentally breaking trophies, these two always bring entertainment.

Their hallway toss gone wrong is just another chapter in their long history of fun—and it reminds fans why we loved watching them both on and off the field.
