The 48-year-old shared a post on Instagram on Wednesday, June 18, after being detained by law enforcement in Utah County, Utah, on June 13.
Her return to social media came after a difficult period that included a mental health crisis and a family situation that led to her being taken to the hospital.
The Incident Leading to Her Hospitalization
On June 10, Kelley and her husband, Scott Wolf, announced their split after 21 years of marriage. Just days after the announcement, a 911 call was made from their home in Park City, Utah, citing a “family fight.” The dispatcher mentioned a “trespass” situation, but authorities did not confirm who was involved.
Later, a friend of Kelley’s called 911, expressing concern over her “escalating mental health crisis.” The friend described Kelley as “very skittish” and “anti-getting help,” noting that they had been trying to get her assistance for weeks.
The situation reportedly escalated at the Sundance Resort, where Kelley allegedly caused a disturbance at a restaurant and threw herself on the ground before security intervened. This ultimately led to her being detained and taken to a local hospital.
Kelley’s Instagram Return
On June 18, Kelley returned to Instagram with a post showing what appeared to be a hospital bracelet, accompanied by a simple “Hi” message and a caption that read, “God bless 🇺🇸.”
She also shared several Instagram Stories, including a photo of Deer Creek State Park in Utah, which she called her “favorite campsite,” as well as a selfie and a series of other posts.
In her Instagram Stories, Kelley reflected on important issues like mental health, writing, “Be Kind Please, it’s ‘men’s’ mental health month….Or wait…. Juneteenth?! Soon? Hmmmmm 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸,” while also praising Taylor Swift with the text “The Queen!! I love everything @taylorswift does! My idol!”
