Memphis Woman Arrested for Murder After Shooting Mother of Three in Hotel Parking Lot

A 29-year-old mother of three, Terrica Tabor, was tragically shot and killed in a Tennessee motel parking lot in February, and police have now arrested Jenae Bradley, 32, in connection with the crime. Bradley has been charged with first-degree murder after the fatal shooting on February 22 at the Star Lite Inn in Memphis.

The Fatal Shooting

According to authorities, Terrica Tabor was sitting in the passenger seat of a car in the motel parking lot when a woman, later identified as Jenae Bradley, approached. Tabor, along with her boyfriend and sister, noticed Bradley observing them from a nearby stairway.

Tabor’s sister reported that Bradley walked down the stairs, approached the car, and opened fire, shooting three times into the vehicle. The victim’s sister recalled that Bradley yelled, “I told you, b—! I told you!” before fleeing the scene.

Investigation and Arrest

After the shooting, surveillance footage from the motel helped police identify Bradley as the shooter. Tabor’s sister was able to pick Bradley’s photo from a lineup, which led to her arrest nearly five months after the crime.

Despite the arrest, investigators have not yet provided a clear motive for the shooting, leaving many questions unanswered. Bradley was arrested on Tuesday and remains in custody at the Shelby County Jail, with a $90,000 bond. She is scheduled for a bond reduction hearing on Friday.

Tabor’s Legacy

Tabor leaves behind three young children, with her eldest child, age 10, struggling to comprehend the tragedy. Tabor’s aunt expressed the profound pain caused by the loss, emphasizing the impact on her children.

“She was a good mom,” the aunt told local news, explaining that the hardest part was seeing Tabor’s children, particularly her eldest, process the brutal reality of losing their mother.

“This is the sharpest pain in my heart because I thought, what about the children? What about her kids?” Tabor’s aunt reflected.
