Owasso, OK – Two women were arrested Thursday evening after attempting to steal over $10,600 worth of merchandise from the Ulta Beauty store on North 121st East Avenue.
The suspects, 33-year-old Christine Louise Fields and 33-year-old Dameca Dasean Fields, both from Tulsa, were caught by Owasso Police while trying to flee the scene.
The Theft and Arrest
According to authorities, the women had filled large bags with store products and attempted to leave without paying. Officers, who were already nearby responding to another theft report, quickly arrived at the store and intercepted the suspects before they could escape in their vehicle.
Charges Filed Against the Suspects
Christine Louise Fields is facing several charges, including grand larceny, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of narcotics, and an outstanding warrant for theft. Dameca Dasean Fields is charged with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stolen Goods Recovered
The stolen merchandise was successfully recovered and returned to the store. Both women were processed at the Owasso Municipal Jail before being transferred to the Tulsa County Jail.
