David Beador's Shocking New Filing Against Lesley: Accusations of Abuse and Manipulation

In a dramatic turn of events, David Beador, ex-husband of Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador, has filed for a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife, Lesley Beador.

Court documents obtained by PEOPLE reveal that David, 60, submitted a petition for protection on June 17, alleging physical abuse and emotional distress from Lesley, 41.

Restraining Order and Custody Details

David has requested that Lesley remain 100 yards away from him, his home, and his workplace, with the only exception being for custody exchanges of their 4-year-old daughter, Anna Love.

The court has also ordered that Lesley vacate David’s Newport Beach home and temporarily stay at their Montana residence with her two children from a previous relationship, Inga and Indris Pukke, for the remainder of the summer.

David’s filing detailed a history of conflicts in their marriage, including previous divorce petitions and domestic violence restraining orders. He accused Lesley of being primarily interested in his wealth, claiming, “It’s not just a cliché that Lesley married me for my money. In our case, it is a fact.”

Allegations of Abuse and Manipulation

David’s filing further alleged that Lesley used their daughter, Anna, as a tool to extract more money from him. He claimed she manipulated him into dismissing prior domestic violence actions, using Anna as leverage.

In 2023, Lesley had also filed for divorce and a restraining order against David, citing “threats, harassment, and hostile behavior.” At the time, David filed a protection order of his own, claiming that he feared for his safety and the safety of Anna due to the intense arguments between him and Lesley.

However, in June 2025, David’s allegations became more serious. He claimed, “Lesley has physically abused me on several occasions,” with only some incidents being detailed in previous domestic violence actions. He accused her of being a “pathological liar” who would fabricate anything to benefit herself.

Detailed Accounts of Physical Altercations

David recounted a physical altercation on June 10, the night before a planned family trip to New York. He alleged that Lesley initiated a fight and refused to go on the trip after a friend made positive comments about him in her presence.

The argument allegedly continued the following day, culminating in Lesley physically attacking him. David claimed she gouged chunks of skin from his arm and shoved her fingers into his mouth to silence him. He also alleged that Lesley slapped him multiple times across the face during the altercation.

David provided photos of his alleged injuries as evidence and claimed that Lesley later fabricated a story that he bit her fingers during the incident, which he denied.

After the argument, Lesley and her children left their Newport Beach home and traveled to Montana. The following day, Lesley reportedly texted David saying she wanted a divorce and then accused him of being gay, which David denied.

Allegations of Manipulation and Mental State

David also accused Lesley of weaponizing their daughter Anna by threatening to seek a three-year restraining order against him, a pattern he claims Lesley has followed in the past.

He expressed concern about her mental state, calling it “disturbing and nonsensical.” He added that Lesley’s behavior, including using their daughter for personal gain, was part of a routine of falsely accusing him of domestic violence.

Upcoming Hearing

A hearing regarding whether the temporary restraining order will become permanent is scheduled for July 8. Both David and Lesley have been contacted for further comment, but responses are yet to be received.
