In a shocking and disturbing incident, police in Arizona revealed that a group of fifth-grade girls planned to murder a boy at their school.
The plot was reportedly formed in October 2024 during lunch and recess at Legacy Traditional School’s West Surprise campus in Surprise, Arizona.
This eerie plan involved a calculated attack on a fellow student, and the details have left the community in disbelief.
The Disturbing Plan
According to the Surprise Police Department, the girls, aged 10 and 11, formed a deadly plan to kill their classmate. The plot was supposed to take place in a school bathroom.
The girls had assigned specific roles for each of them in the plan: one was to provide the knife, another was to write a fake suicide note to make it seem like the boy had taken his own life, while a third would act as a lookout, and the fourth was tasked with actually stabbing the boy.
The goal, as stated in the police report, was chilling—one of the girls reportedly said, “Just end him,” meaning they intended to take the boy’s life.
The Motive Behind the Plot
The girls’ motive appears to be linked to a schoolyard romance that had gone wrong. The boy allegedly “cheated” on one of the girls while they were “dating.”
After the breakup, the girls reportedly wanted revenge, with one of them even stating she wanted him dead. The emotional fallout from the failed relationship led to the plot for permanent retribution.
How the Plan Was Exposed
The murderous scheme was uncovered when other students overheard the girls discussing their plan. These students immediately told their parents, who then alerted the authorities. According to the police report, the plot was to take place in a bathroom at the school, located near the cafeteria.
The details were chilling: the girls had planned to stab the boy in the stomach, and the girl with the knife was going to wear gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints.
The Investigation and Arrests
Once the plan was discovered, police began investigating the situation. The girls’ backpacks were searched, and they were interrogated with their parents present. Within a week, all the girls were arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of threatening and disorderly conduct.
While three of the girls reportedly showed remorse for their actions, one girl seemed unfazed by the severity of the situation, reportedly smiling and laughing during the investigation.
