Serena Williams is having some playful fun with her friend and fellow Olympian Simone Biles.
Williams, 43, posted a video on her Instagram Stories showing the stunning blue waters from a boat ride she was enjoying with her family during a vacation. Along with the video, she jokingly wrote, “Jealous?” and tagged Biles, 28.
Biles quickly responded by reposting the video on her Instagram Stories, writing, “girllllllllllll yes,” followed by a broken heart and crying emojis. She also added, “just you wait,” hinting that she had something exciting planned for her own vacation.
Bonding Through Sports and Friendship
The two athletes, who have both achieved incredible success in their respective sports, continue to bond over their shared love for athletics. The pair were recently spotted catching up at the 2025 Met Gala, where they spent time together with Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens.
In 2024, Biles also met Williams’ daughter, Olympia Ohanian, during the Gold Over America Tour, which Biles starred in. Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, shared on Instagram how much fun the family had at the event, writing, “I had to take S & Jr to see @simonebiles’ Gold Over America Tour. Packed house. Awesome night. Don’t miss it if they’re coming to your town.”
Ohanian also joked about how he tried to recreate Olympia’s leotard look with pancakes, saying, “I bought all the merch I could and even tried making this morning’s pancake look like Olympia in one of her new leotards – sorry babygirl, photorealism is hard 😆😆 and the batter was too runny today.”

Earlier this week, Biles took a moment to celebrate her Olympic achievements in honor of Olympic Day on June 23. She shared throwback photos from her time with Team USA and reminded fans of her impressive collection of 11 Olympic medals, the most ever earned by a U.S. gymnast.
