Allison Williams’ 4th Grade “Ball Kicking” Story Will Leave You Stunned

Allison Williams is looking back on a mischievous moment from her childhood and offering an apology on behalf of her younger self.

During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show on June 24, Williams, 37, recalled a time in the 4th grade when she found it “amusing” to kick her male classmates “in the balls” while wearing wooden clogs.

A Painful Childhood Memory

Williams shared the story while chatting with her friends-turned-podcast co-hosts, Hope Kremer and Jaymie Oppenheim, about the fashion items they wore when they were younger.

She reminisced about the clogs, which she described as having “a thick wooden sole” and being “designed to break your ankle, like, as efficiently as possible.”

But it wasn’t just the design of the shoes that stood out to Williams—it was the reactions she got when she kicked the boys in the “you-know-what” areas.

“It was horrible, and this is a mea culpa,” Williams admitted. “But in fourth grade, I found it amusing to see what happened when I kicked them in the balls with that shoe.”

Boys’ Reactions Were Unexpected

When Clarkson asked what happened after she kicked the boys, Williams described how their behavior completely changed. “These boys, the number one thing as a boy—at least in my school—was nothing fazes you,” she explained. “Then when they got kicked in the balls, suddenly this different version of them emerged: nauseous and crying.”

Williams was fascinated by their reactions, saying, “I was like, ‘Wow, this is a different side of you that I’m seeing.'”

She went on to explain that she didn’t quite understand the extent of the pain the boys were feeling. “I was like, ‘But is it real? How real is this feeling? I don’t have that,'” she said. “I’d be like, ‘Are you really in pain?’ And they’d say, ‘Yes! I’m throwing up! This hurts!’”

Apologizing to Her Former Classmates

Looking back, Williams offered a heartfelt apology to the boys she kicked back in the 4th grade. “To all the boys I went to school with, I am so sorry,” she said, jokingly adding, “I hope it caused no permanent damage.”

But she didn’t stop there. Now a mother herself, Williams also made sure to express her thoughts on what she’d do if anyone were to try the same thing on her son, Arlo, who was born in November 2021 with her fiancé, Alexander Dreymon.

“If any of you kick him in the balls, I’m coming for you,” she warned future friends of her son.

Allison Williams’ playful, yet embarrassing, childhood memory of kicking her classmates in the balls is something she’s now openly apologizing for.

With a 3-year-old son of her own, she’s looking back with humor and a little bit of mom-mode protectiveness. Her story reminded viewers that kids can sometimes do silly things, but it’s always good to learn from them as we grow.
