Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, best known for playing Lily Tucker-Pritchett on Modern Family, has come out as bisexual in a heartfelt Instagram post.
The 18-year-old actress shared the news on June 16, using a playful and meaningful video to express her truth.

In the Instagram video, Anderson-Emmons lip-syncs to a scene from Modern Family, where her character, Lily, delivers an iconic line. In the clip, Gloria Delgado-Pritchett (played by Sofía Vergara) says, “You are Vietnamese,” to which Lily responds, “No, I’m not, I’m gay, I’m gay!“
Mitchell Pritchett (played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson) then says, “Honey, no, you’re not gay. You are just confused!” Anderson-Emmons mouths the lines with a smile and adds text to the video, stating, “people keep joking so much abt me being gay when I literally am (I’m bi).”
In the caption, she added, “happy pride month to all and to all a goodnight hehehe,” along with a series of hashtags to mark the occasion.
