On June 16, Lovato shared a fun and hilarious recreation of an iconic moment from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, where Kim Kardashian famously loses her diamond earring in the ocean during a family vacation in Bora Bora.
A Hilarious Reenactment
In the reel, Lovato, 32, and Jutes, 34, perfectly reenact the scene from the 2011 episode “Getting to Know You”. The moment, which went viral at the time, shows Kim Kardashian dramatically freaking out after realizing her expensive diamond earring has been lost in the ocean.
Lovato mouths Kim’s emotional words, “My earring’s gone! Oh my God, I’m gonna cry”, while touching her ears in the water.
Lovato is seen wearing a black cut-out one-piece swimsuit as she recreates the moment, exclaiming, “My diamond earrings!” as she stands in the ocean.
Jutes, playing Kourtney Kardashian, lip-syncs “What’s wrong with you guys?” before Lovato dramatically responds with, “My diamond earring came off in the ocean and it’s gone.”
The hilarious clip concludes with Jutes, looking at Lovato climbing the stairs, saying, “Kim, there’s people that are dying.”
In the caption, Lovato simply wrote, “We had to.”
