A shocking case has emerged from Denton, Texas, involving 52-year-old William Oddo III, who allegedly shot his fiancée, 39-year-old LaVera Wardell, in the head before living with her body for more than a week. The case became public on May 19, when neighbors noticed a “very foul smell” coming from Oddo’s apartment. They reported that they had last seen Oddo and Wardell together on May 6, after which she was reported missing.
