Major Fentanyl and Cocaine Trafficking Ring Busted in Pennsylvania: 14 Suspects Charged

A major drug trafficking ring operating across Pennsylvania has been dismantled, leading to charges against 14 individuals involved in distributing fentanyl, crack cocaine, and powder cocaine. The announcement came Tuesday from Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday.

Beaver County Man Accused of Leading Drug Network

Authorities say Korrtezz Martin, 34, of Beaver County, led the operation between April 2023 and August 2024, with drug activity spanning Beaver, Allegheny, and Washington counties. Martin and 13 alleged co-conspirators are now facing multiple felony charges.

Martin was arrested Tuesday and is being held on $500,000 bail. He is charged with:

  • Possession of a firearm as a prohibited person
  • Criminal conspiracy
  • Dealing in unlawful proceeds
  • Operating a corrupt organization
  • Possession with intent to distribute
  • Criminal use of a communication facility

According to the Attorney General’s office, an investigative grand jury found Martin oversaw a network of runners and high-level dealers distributing narcotics throughout the region.

Law Enforcement Collaboration

The bust was a joint effort by the Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, Beaver County Drug Task Force, Pennsylvania State Police, Beaver County District Attorney’s Office, and the DEA’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas program.

“Our Bureau of Narcotics Investigation worked diligently to identify the leader of this criminal enterprise and his conspirators,” said Attorney General Dave Sunday. “We will continue to aggressively prosecute those who push deadly drugs into our communities.”
