by HARRISBURG, PA – State Representative Aaron Bernstine (R-10th District) is joining fellow lawmakers to unveil a new legislative proposal aimed at restoring financial stability to Pennsylvania’s Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund.
The press conference is scheduled for Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the State Capitol in Harrisburg. Bernstine and other lawmakers will be accompanied by leaders from the National Federation of Independent Businesses and the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.
According to Rep. Bernstine, the legislation is designed to reduce taxes for both workers and employers, while also ensuring long-term solvency for the state’s unemployment system.
