Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are back as the beloved witch sisters, Gillian and Sally Owens, in the highly anticipated Practical Magic 2, a sequel to the 1998 classic.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Kidman, 58, revealed the special bond she shares with her co-star, calling Bullock, 61, “like a sister” and adding that they have a great time teasing each other on set.

Kidman described her relationship with Bullock as “insane” in the best possible way. She explained, “I can tease her, and she teases me,” noting their close proximity in London, where both actresses currently live.
Despite the 27 years that have passed since the original Practical Magic, the two were able to slip right back into their iconic roles without missing a beat. Kidman shared, “We’re both like, ‘What?’ But we were just right back into it.”
Kidman also praised Bullock’s humor and warmth, saying, “I adore her and she is so funny and so lovable. And we’re just having the best time together.” Their natural camaraderie adds a special dynamic to their performances, making the return to the Practical Magic world even more enjoyable.
