Has XO, Kitty Been Renewed for Season 3?
Yes, XO, Kitty has officially been renewed for a third season! The announcement was made on February 14, 2025, via a video shared on social media.
In the clip, actress Anna Cathcart (who plays Kitty Song-Covey) accepts a bouquet of roses, reads a card with a playful message about season 3, and reveals the season’s script. “It’s official! Season 3 of XO, Kitty is in the works,” Cathcart says, much to the delight of fans.
Who’s Returning for XO, Kitty Season 3?
The main cast will be returning for season 3, so fans can expect to see Kitty, Dae (played by Choi Min-young), and her K.I.S.S. friends back for more drama and romance. Some of the returning stars include:

Soy Kim shared her excitement on Instagram in July 2025, saying, “Grateful beyond words to join the XO, Kitty family! The cast and crew are not only wildly talented but endlessly kind. I feel so lucky to be part of something special.”
What Happened at the End of XO, Kitty Season 2?
Season 2 ended on a major cliffhanger! After Kitty receives a scholarship to return to K.I.S.S. for her senior year, she is about to confess her feelings to Min Ho (played by Sang Heon Lee) before he leaves for a summer tour with his dad and older brother, pop star Joon Ho (played by Peniel Shin).
The two share an almost-kiss moment, but just as Min Ho walks away, Kitty calls out and asks if she can join him on tour. Min Ho smiles and nods, setting up an exciting possibility for the upcoming season.
Showrunner Jessica O’Toole teased that season 3 will explore plenty of romance, friendship, and adventure, along with “lots of kissing” — which fans will no doubt be eagerly awaiting.
When Does XO, Kitty Season 3 Come Out?
While the official release date for season 3 has yet to be announced, we know production wrapped in July 2025, with a behind-the-scenes video posted by Netflix on July 17, 2025, celebrating the completion of filming.
Season 2 wrapped production in June 2024, and it debuted a few months later in January 2025, so it’s likely that season 3 will arrive in early 2026. Keep an eye on Netflix for any updates!
