Actress Molly Gordon, 29, is the first to admit she’s not the best at keeping secrets — especially when it comes to TV spoilers.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE in 10, Gordon revealed that while working on her upcoming romantic comedy Oh, Hi! with actor Logan Lerman, she spilled details about the new season of The Bear — long before it aired.
Molly Gordon Spills the Beans on Set
While chatting alongside co-star Lerman, 33, Gordon confessed, “I shot my stuff for The Bear before we shot this movie, which is crazy, because we shot it about a year ago.” Lerman chimed in, “You told me a little bit,” to which she replied, laughing, “Yeah. Sorry. You’re like, ‘You told me everything!’”
The actress, who plays Claire on The Bear, admitted, “I can’t keep a secret.” Her lighthearted confession added a fun behind-the-scenes touch to their new project, showing just how close the two actors became while filming.
Oh, Hi! — A Rom-Com with a Twist
Gordon and Lerman star in Oh, Hi!, a romantic comedy with a unique premise. The story follows a man and a woman on their first romantic weekend getaway, which quickly takes an unexpected turn. The film blends heartfelt moments with comedy, co-written by Gordon herself.
In fact, Gordon revealed that Lerman was her top pick for the male lead. “I’ve been a big fan of his since I saw Perks of Being a Wallflower. But I also love this movie Shirley that he did a couple years ago. It’s completely underrated,” she said.
Working with Two Fan Favorites: Logan Lerman and Jeremy Allen White
In addition to praising Lerman, Gordon recently opened up about working with Jeremy Allen White, her co-star from The Bear, during a film screening in New York City on July 22.
“They’re both lovely people,” Gordon said of White and Lerman. “That’s the similarity between them… But, yeah, I’m lucky. My job is easy.”
Her compliments add to the anticipation for fans eager to see Gordon in both projects — especially as her popularity continues to rise thanks to her emotional performance on The Bear and her creative talents behind Oh, Hi!
Molly Gordon’s spoiler slip may have revealed a little too much to Logan Lerman on set, but it only adds to her relatable charm. As Oh, Hi! hits theaters and The Bear continues to gain acclaim on Hulu, Gordon is solidifying her spot as one of the most exciting rising stars in Hollywood — even if she can’t always keep a surprise under wraps.
