Trash Haulers Found Guilty of First-Degree Murder in Home Invasion Mix-Up

Pennsylvania – Two men from Junkluggers, Charles Fulforth, 41, and Kelvin Roberts Jr., 42, have been convicted of first-degree murder after a home invasion turned deadly in December 2024. They were found guilty on seven felony charges after a four-hour jury deliberation on Thursday evening.

Murder of Andrew Gaudio and Attack on His Mother

The two men were involved in a tragic home invasion where they mistakenly entered the wrong house. Fulforth and Roberts were allegedly attempting to steal guns from a Bucks County home, but instead, they invaded the home of Andrew Gaudio, 25, and his mother, Bernadette Gaudio, 61, in a different county.

Upon entering the home on December 8, 2024, Roberts shot Andrew in the back of the head as he lay face down on the floor of his mother’s bedroom.

Bernadette Gaudio testified in court, describing how she heard her son’s call and, when he reached her, he was shot in the head. She was then shot multiple times by Roberts, leaving her paralyzed.

Executed by Intruders

Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele described the murder as an execution. He said, “Andrew was shot in the back of the head as he lay down on the floor… they executed her 25-year-old son.”

The Role of Jeremy Fuentes

It was later revealed that a third suspect, Jeremy Fuentes, allegedly tipped off Fulforth and Roberts about the location of a gun stash in Bucks County.

Fuentes, a fellow employee at Junkluggers, and an unnamed employee who testified, reportedly provided details about the gun safe at the Bucks County residence. Fuentes is scheduled to stand trial separately.

Verdict and Future Sentencing

After being convicted, Fulforth and Roberts were found guilty of first-degree murder, attempted murder, robbery, and several other charges, though they were acquitted of conspiracy to commit murder. The two men are set to be sentenced at a later date.
