They Wish They Could Just Keep Swimming

Honoring people afflicted by cancer, Grace Egli (12) hands a carnation to Jenny Lauthers, a cancer survivor. Every player on the James Buchanan High School girls basketball team gave out a carnation to a cancer patient. “It feels awesome to be honored,” Lauthers said.

Dribbling around her opponent, Morgan Iverson (12) uses her arm to block. Iverson maneuvered around her contender and shot the ball. She successfully scored a three-pointer.
