Singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura has made her return to social media after going through a deeply emotional and life-changing few months.
From becoming a mother of three to bravely testifying against her former partner Sean “Diddy” Combs in a high-profile criminal trial, Cassie is now sharing small, hopeful glimpses of her healing journey.
Cassie’s Postpartum Update
On August 7, Cassie, 37, took to her Instagram Stories for the first time since May to repost a relatable and light-hearted video from the “momswithplans” account.
In the clip, a man dances joyfully as DJ Khaled’s song “Wild Thoughts” plays, with a caption that reads:
“When your old self slowly starts coming out postpartum.”
Cassie responded to the clip with her own words:
“Factual. Little by little. lol.”
Her brief yet powerful message gave fans a peek into her personal recovery process, both physically and emotionally, after giving birth and testifying in court.
Welcoming Baby No. 3
Cassie and her husband, fitness trainer Alex Fine, 32, welcomed their third child—a baby boy—on May 28. The couple is already parents to two daughters: Frankie Stone, age 5, and Sunny Cinco, age 4.
The joyful arrival came just two weeks after Cassie bravely testified against her ex-boyfriend Diddy in a federal trial related to charges of prostitution, racketeering, and sex trafficking.
Testifying Against Diddy
Cassie had previously been in a long-term relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs, which ended in 2018. In the trial, she described the alleged abuse she endured during their time together.
One of the most disturbing parts of her testimony involved claims about so-called “freak offs”, which were sex parties where, according to Cassie and other witnesses, women were forced into sexual acts with male sex workers while Diddy watched.
While Diddy was convicted of prostitution, he was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering. The court proceedings attracted widespread media coverage and public reaction, especially due to the sensitive and serious nature of the testimonies.
Husband Alex Fine’s Support
Throughout the trial, Cassie’s husband Alex Fine was right by her side, offering emotional support and standing firm in her defence. After the first week of court wrapped up, Fine posted a heartfelt message about Cassie’s strength and journey.
“I have felt so many things sitting there,” he wrote. “Pride, love, anger… but most of all, admiration for Cass.”
He also clarified something many people misunderstood:
“I did not save Cassie. She saved herself.”
He added that Cassie broke free from “abuse, coercion, violence and threats,” and has been doing the hard work to heal from what she endured.
Cassie’s quiet return to Instagram is more than just a social media post—it’s a symbol of resilience. After months of pain, strength, and change, she is slowly stepping back into herself, embracing motherhood and personal recovery.
Her words, “Little by little,” reflect a message many women can relate to—healing doesn’t happen overnight, but every small step matters. With her loving family by her side and the support of her husband, Cassie continues to inspire others through her courage and grace.
